IT IS perhaps the best field for a Horsham council election voters have faced in many years.
That is a good thing for our community.
Choice means the community can select the best seven people we believe can take us through the next four years.
And let's be honest... they are not going to be easy years.
Best case scenario is that this council will have to spearhead the region's recovery from 12 long years of drought. Best case meaning, of course, those long-awaited rains arrive in the next four years.
Worst case scenario is, these seven people must carefully steer a hurting community through years 13, 14, 15 and 16 of drought.
It's a big job. Perhaps the most important job in our community.
For that reason alone it's vital the community gets it absolutely right when choosing the seven people to lead the Horsham municipality.
Given its importance, the Mail- Times has endorsed the seven people pictured above whom we think will best serve the community.
