Healy and Mail-Times journalist Carly McDonald toured the region with VicRoads and Parks Victoria representatives on Thursday.
VicRoads has estimated the recovery at close to $25 million and is working on a number of areas in the park, including Mt Abrupt, pictured below right, the site of one of the more than 190 landslips caused by flooding.
VicRoads flood recovery project manager Brad Pryor, pictured above looking down from Northern Grampians Road, said sites had to be cleared of debris before VicRoads could identify what works were needed.
Clean-up works are almost complete on Northern Grampians Road and Grampians Road.
Silverband Falls Road, pictured below, and Grampians Road at Fyans Creek Bridge, pictured right, are two of the areas that were badly damaged.
Mr Pryor said works would include replacing culverts, kerb and channel installations and road repairs.
McDonald's account of the tour and the devastation she and Healy experienced will appear in Friday's Mail-Times.
