HORSHAM Primary School 298 campus and Rasmussen campus students returned to school on Friday with new uniforms.
Horsham 298 and Horsham North schools merged last year and Horsham North changed its name to Horsham Primary School Rasmussen campus.
As part of the merger the school has adopted a single uniform for both campuses and a new logo.
Acting Horsham Primary School principal and principal of Rasmussen campus Brenda Evans said the uniforms would be phased in over the coming years.
"At the moment we have a polo top and that will be followed by a bomber jacket and a rugby jumper," she said.
"Then we will look at changing other things as well.
"The new tops are a combination of the colours of the two schools. Horsham North had navy and a teal blue and 298 had the navy and red.
"The merger is progressing very nicely and has been embraced very positively by the school community."
Mrs Evans said there were about 500 students enrolled across the two campuses this year, including 78 preps.
"For the first time in a long time we have a full class of preps at Rasmussen campus," she said.
"The first day ran very smoothly.
"We had a comprehensive transition program in term four last year where the preps got used to their new rooms and teachers, and that made for a successful transition from kinder to prep."
