The pair grew up at Douglas on the family farm and attended Douglas Primary School and Balmoral Primary School before making the transition to Balmoral High School.
Mr Hair also spent two years at Horsham Technical School.
Mrs Zordan said she wasn't looking forward to turning 50, but Mr Hair said he was glad he'd reached the milestone.
"It is nice to get there and be healthy and well. We've still got our parents Eric and Bev Hair who live in Horsham and our kids are fit and well and that's the important thing," he said.
Mr Hair said some of his highlights of life in the Wimmera included playing football and being involved with the Harrow Sound and Light Show.
"I played football for 30 years with Horsham and Harrow-Balmoral and coached Noradjuha,'' he said.
''I also coached Balmoral to a premiership in 1991, which was a highlight.
"I was involved with the Harrow Light and Sound Show from 1997 to 2000 and farmed up until then on the family farm before moving to Horsham.
"Other highlights have been spending time with my partner Lisa Cosson and our two kids Hudson, 8, and Zarli, 6, and working at O'Connors - they've been great to me.
"Lisa owns and runs Planet Feel Good Health Club which is another big part of our lives."
Mrs Zordan said she was married to Chris Zordan and had three children - Nicholas, 25, Lachlan, 22, and Jaclyn, 20.
"I've been working as a kinder assistant since 1996 and have been working at Natimuk Road Kindergarten since 2001," she said. "I was a stay-at-home mum for 13 years and was involved with Horsham Swimming Club, the Uniting Church and the Fourth Horsham Scout Group."
Mr Hair said he enjoyed living in the Wimmera.
"After I left the farm I could have gone anywhere, but the Wimmera is a good part of the world with a great climate," he said. "I've got a really good set of cycling friends and cycling, work and Lisa's gym are the three reasons I really enjoy being in the Wimmera.
"Building a house together on the Wimmera River is also a highlight of my life here."
So can we expect the twins to be celebrating together in another 50 years?
"Maybe not," Mr Hair said.
"I don't think anyone expects to live to 100, but it would be nice to live into your 80s or 90s."
Mrs Zordan agreed: "It's quality rather than quantity. It's about spending time with your family and friends."
