Horsham woman hit by own car

06 Feb, 2012 12:00 AM
A 62-YEAR-OLD woman was rushed to hospital on Saturday night after she was hit by a car in Creek Crescent, Horsham.

Ambulance Victoria media spokesman John Mullen said the woman was standing at the back of her parked car at 11.52pm, when another car reversed into her vehicle with enough force to propel it backwards and push her over.

"The woman struck her head as she fell and ended up with a head injury and back soreness," Mr Mullen said.

"She was treated at the scene and immobilised with a spinal collar and spinal board."

Mr Mullen said the woman was taken to Wimmera Base Hospital for treatment.
