The bank has adopted Sawyer Park under Horsham Tidy Towns' Adopt-a-Spot program, making a commitment to tidy up the park before all major events.
Horsham Tidy Towns Committee chairman Don Johns said the bank's voluntary offer of assistance was the highlight of his 26-year involvement with Tidy Towns.
``This is undoubtedly the best thing that has happened,'' he said.
``We didn't have to ask for their help, NAB came to us and that's what this is all about _ community involvement. It's brilliant.''
NAB Agribusiness manager Richard Bales and a team of staff will don garden gloves to pick up rubbish at Sawyer Park from 9am today.
Mr Bales said they would also unveil a sign declaring their adoption of the area.
``I have a passion for keeping the community tidy, which is why I decided to get involved,'' he said.
``It is a great way to prepare for Australia Day and raise awareness about keeping public places tidy in the lead-up to Clean Up Australia Day in March.''
Mr Johns said NAB's adoption of Sawyer Park took the total number of adopted spots in Horsham to 33.
He said he looked forward to working with Mr Bales and his team as part of an ongoing commitment to helping make Horsham a tidy town.
``Banks can sometimes be aloof from the community but this shows the NAB sees the importance of being involved and taking pride in the town,'' he said. ``It is a great exercise.''
Mr Johns said individuals or organisations wanting to adopt a spot could call him on 5382 2803 for more
information.
