CBL Hornets coach Trevor Holmes hopes the speed of his team will be a telling factor when they return to the court for their round nine Country Basketball League south-west conference match tomorrow.
The win-less Hornets side play Hamilton in Hamilton.
Holmes said it would be a challenge for his team.
"Hamilton have a lot of experienced players and bigger bodies than us," he said.
"We'll have to play smart and run them into the ground.
"Playing out four quarters will be a key and that is something we've been doing well in recent games.
"We know how they play, it's just a matter of us playing well on the day."
Holmes said his side would be without key player Danny Kennedy, while Tyler Bye would miss with an ankle injury.
He said his side would also be without the services of experienced duo Cam Bruce and Mark Dorward.
The pair played a number of matches with the side in December.
"They've both returned to Ballarat, where they have basketball commitments," Holmes said.
"It was great to get them for a few games.
"They made a big difference and all the boys learnt a bit from them."
Zac Walter returns to the Hornets line-up.
Holmes said his focus was on continuing to develop his young side.
"Our eyes are on further down the track," he said.
"Things are starting to come together nicely and we are going to be a bigger threat towards the end of the season."
