RUP-MINYIP and Homers will fight for top spot in Horsham Cricket Association A Grade this weekend.
The two-day clash starts tomorrow and finishes on Sunday.
The Blue Panthers are first on the ladder, three points clear of Homers who have a superior percentage.
Homers captain Lachie Jones said his side was ready for the challenge of playing Rup-Minyp on its home ground at Minyip.
Homers registered a four-wicket win against Rup-Minyip in round two, with opener Sandy Hodge top scoring with 55.
"We're looking for a win to stay in the top two. It'll be a good contest to see where we're at," Jones said.
"It's always good to play the top sides towards the end of the season."
Jones said opening bowler Tyson Keegan was sidelined with a knee injury he sustained playing in Horsham Twenty20 competition.
Jones said Keegan was in a brace for at least two weeks but did not require surgery.
"He's young and fit and he'll bounce back," he said.
Homers junior Sushil Bist, 13, made his A Grade debut against Blackheath-Dimboola.
He was unbeaten on four coming in at number 11 and claimed the wicket of Bulls captain Hamish Exell in their second innings.
"With his first ball in A Grade he got a wicket," Jones said.
"He is a leg spinner and it's good to see young blokes coming through like that.
"We were all very excited when he got a wicket. He came up and did a great job filling in."
Jones said Bist had immense potential.
"He is a player of the future no doubt," Jones said.
"Leg spin is a hard art to do. He'll be an A Grade player in the future."
Bottom-placed Jung Tigers host Horsham Saints at Horsham City Oval.
The Saints sit fourth and are aiming to cement a finals spot.
Jung Tigers captain Nathan Neumann said a 'lack of concentration' with the bat had contributed to his side's lowly ladder position.
"I've been pleased with our bowling and fielding. It's just some of our batsmen are letting us down a little bit," he said.
"I hope everyone puts their heads down and try and make runs."
Neumann said veterans Marty Knight and David Puls were leading the way with the ball.
"Everyone is bowling well. They have all been doing a job," Neumann said.
Tiger bowler Brandon Campbell will miss with a rolled ankle.
