HORSHAM District Football League has implemented spilt rounds in its 2012 draw.
Rounds 13 and 14 will be spread across three weeks in July.
There will be three games in week one, three games in week two and four games in week three.
The season will start on March 31, three weeks before Wimmera Football League, to accommodate the spilt rounds.
League chairman Graeme King said the spilt rounds ensured each club had a break.
"Rather than have one weekend with no football at all we elected to go with the spilt rounds so there was at least some football," Mr King said.
Mr King said the league was pleased with the draw, which sees the grand final start on September 15.
"The highlight is it's even. Everyone plays everyone twice, there is no unfairness in the draw so to speak," Mr King said.
"When Great Western moved we went from 11 teams back to 10 and it made it a bit easier."
Others features of the draw include a round one grand final rematch between Kalkee and Harrow-Balmoral, interleague versus Maryborough District on May 26 and a WorkSafe VCFL Game of the month on July 8 between Noradjuha-Quantong v Taylors Lake at Quantong.
