Eight teams from across the Wimmera competed in the round-robin competition.

Nhill coach Simon Brearley said it was the first time the school had won the annual year nine and 10 competition.

Brearley said Nhill won the grand final 5.2 (32) to Murtoa's 3.0 (18).

Liam Albrecht, Mitchell Dahlenburg and Adam Dufty were Nhill's better players.

AFL Victoria medals for best players went to Jack Anders, Horsham College; Chris Larrocca, Kaniva College; Liam Albrecht, Nhill College; Blake Young, Murtoa College; Tim Adams, Edenhope College; Luke Hutchinson, Dimboola College and Steven Scott, Rainbow College.
