HORSHAM District Football League is still looking for board members for the 2010 season, after only one applicant joined the board at its annual general meeting on Wednesday night.
Western Victoria Football general manager Stephen McQueen said Daryl Dumesny, who has a long association with the Pimpinio Football Club, was appointed to the board.
He said Dumesny replaces Tracey Beddison and Cobie McQueen, who ended their two-year terms, and Neville Forster, who resigned.
``There are still three vacancies on the board if anyone puts their hand up, but it is not a necessity to fill them,'' he said.
``We currently fulfilling the minimum requirement of six members.''
McQueen said details for interleague in 2010 were also decided at the meeting, with a Horsham District side to play a team from the Mallee Football League on June 5.
He said the match would be played at a Mallee venue.
League chairman Fred Mellington said the league still hoped to fill the vacant board positions.
``Volunteers are getting hard to come by. But we are still chasing up a few people to fill these positions,'' he said.
Mellington will continue his role as chairman, with Graeme King to take over Beddison's vacant treasury position.
Mellington said the league board looked forward to the 2010 season.
``We are just looking forward to continuing to be as strong as we have been,'' he said.
