HORSHAM College celebrated another successful season of its volleyball program at a presentation late last month.
Coach David Berry said more than 130 people attended.
Highlights of the season included the under-17 boys division three side winning a gold medal at the National Schools Cup in December and the under-17 girls division three side collecting a silver medal.
The senior girls team also had a good year, winning a silver medal in the School Sports Victoria state championships in May.
Kimberley Crabtree was named most valuable player in the open girls team, while Cam Robinson took the honour in the under-17 boys team.
Other most valuable player award winners were Jess Radford, under-17 girls, Chloe Brown, under-15 girls, and Ellie Breuer, under-14 girls.
Becky Schmidt won the open girls coaching award, while Dustin Cross collected it for the under-17 boys.
Jessie Breuer received the under-17 girls coaching award, with Amy Lehmann, under-15 girls, and Anna Bush, under-14 girls, also recognised. Encouragement awards went to Rebecca Allan, open girls, Will Marshman, under-17 boys, Mercedes Arnott, under-17 girls, Kelsey Bell, under-15 girls, and Hannah Purtle, under-14 girls.
Berry said the 2012 National Schools Cup in December marked the 10th anniversary of the college's participation in the tournament.
To mark the occasion, a boys and girls team of the decade was announced on the presentation night.
