HORSHAM Cricket Association is still searching for its first win after a tough start to its Horsham Junior Under-15 Country Week campaign.
Mt Gambier easily accounted for the hosts at Dudley Cornell Park number two oval yesterday, posting 192 before bowling Horsham out for just 78.
Jacob Wilson starred for the South Australian-based side, taking three wickets and was on a hat-trick.
Rup-Minyip's Corey Morgan was Horsham's best with a gallant all-round performance.
Corey took 5-51 and top-scored with 29. Sam Polack also tried hard with the bat, making 10.
Wimmera-Mallee also went down in both of its opening fixtures, losing to Mt Gambier and Warrnambool Blue respectively.
Nick Laube, 60, and Nicolas Brown, 42, were the keys to Mt Gambier's winning total of 6-205.
Cooper Morris was the pick of the Wimmera-Mallee bowlers with 2-40.
Wimmera-Mallee was bowled out for 110 in response, with Daniel Westerland top-scoring with 28.
Warrnambool Blue was far too good for Wimmera-Mallee yesterday, with the Blue bowlers dominating.
Charlie Lee took 3-26 and was assisted by Brad Hunt, 2-6, and Brodie Couch, 2-11.
Brad Muller, 27, Sam Phelan, 23, and Isaac McPherson, 17, all made starts but couldn't go on with it.
Blue easily chased down the sub-par total, finishing on 6-262.
Harry Bond made a brilliant unbeaten knock of 78 to go with his five catches behind the stumps.
McPherson, 2-38, and Blake Hogan, 2-50, were Wimmera-Mallee's multiple wicket-takers.
Hamilton looks well on its way to a finals berth after winning two from two.
It was a hard-fought win on day one, edging out Portland by 25 runs thanks to an Aaron Jenkins-inspired fightback.
Portland was cruising at 4-96 chasing 125, but Jenkins took 6-13 to help his side to a first-up win.
Angus Boyd's 94 not out led Hamilton to a comfortable 89-run win over South West yesterday.
Hamilton posted 4-186 before turning it on with the ball to roll its opponents for 97.
Tom Millard and Mitch Lang both took three wickets.
