A retired Kalkee farmer and hobby inventor has designed a motor which runs on air.
Allan Nattrass, 89, of Horsham, has made various creations since his childhood.
He also enjoyed making machinery during his farming career.
Mr Nattrass said he was proud of his latest invention, an air-operated motor, of which he had created three versions.
"I like inventing things," he said.
"I like the satisfaction of achieving something."
Friend and model engineer Reuben Grieger of Horsham helped Mr Nattrass turn his ideas into reality.
Mr Nattrass said Mr Grieger constructed the design for him.
"It can take quite a while to make the prototype and keep on improving it," he said.
"It took me three to four years to make."
Mr Nattrass said he had no immediate plans for more inventions.
"It's just for my satisfaction," he said.
Wife Betty Nattrass said she knew when her husband was working in his workshop.
"I can hear the air compressor," she said.
"I call it a junk place."
Daughter Kerry Bellman said her father had invented a lot of things and was very proud of his latest creation.
