The sport scientist at the centre of the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority's investigation into Essendon's use of unspecified supplements last season, Stephen Dank, will break his silence on the ABC on Monday night.
The club's former performance scientist was sacked late last year as the Bombers came to terms with a spate of soft tissue injuries as their season fell away in the second half of the year.
Dank has not returned calls from Fairfax Media this week after Essendon on Tuesday announced it would be investigated by ASADA and the AFL over its controversial fitness practices in 2012.
He will appear on the ABC's 7:30 Report on Monday night.
Essendon's fitness boss Dean Robinson has also been suspended on full pay pending the ASADA investigation.
