LIGHTNING strikes across the state have sparked small fires in the Wimmera this afternoon.
The CFA has advised there is fire activity in the Little Desert National Park.
It says the fires are being controlled.
An advice message has been issued to Goroke, Gymbowen, Minimay, Miram South, Kaniva, Miram and Ozenkadnook.
The CFA says multiple lightening strikes are occurring in the area and emergency crews will continue to monitor the situation.
Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads.

THE Bureau of Meteorology has warned of thunderstorms likely to produce heavy rain.
The warning area extends from the south west and Wimmera region, through to the Mallee, north central Victoria and Gippsland.
The bureau says the heavy rainfall may lead to flash flooding, damaging winds and large hail.
Locations which may be affected include Horsham, Ballarat, Maryborough, Castlemaine, Kyeton, Bacchus Marsh, Morwell, Traralgon and Moe.
The bureau has warned that rainfall run-off in fire affected areas may contain debris including soil, ash, trees and rocks.
