Warracknabeal Library will host a VicRoads centenary photographic exhibition.
The show is the only one planned for the Wimmera.
There will be eight black-and-white images from 1914 on display in the library from Friday. The show continues for several months.
VicRoads is celebrating its 100th year this year by sharing its rare archive images with museums and historical societies across the state.
Warracknabeal Library manager and Warracknabeal Historical Society treasurer Jean Wise said VicRoads invited the historical society to be involved.
"VicRoads was looking for venues and we realised there was an ideal opportunity in the library, because there is a lovely display area here," she said.
"It would mean that more people would have an opportunity to look at it.
"I believe some historical societies might not have had the opportunity to display the exhibition because of a lack of venues."
Ms Wise said the photographs were beautiful and included old-fashioned cars.
"Some photos were taken in Warracknabeal and other parts of the region such as Horsham," she said.
"Anyone with a love of something old would like the exhibition.
"We do offer community groups and schools the opportunity to have meetings here."
Ms Wise said people could call the library on 5398 1270 for more information.
