Party leaders visited the region as part of a national pre-election tour and president Daniel Nalliah spoke at campaign meetings in Horsham and Bordertown.
"We had a very good turnout, despite the heavy rain," Mr Nalliah said.
"The people who came were very enthusiastic and appreciative of the Rise Up Australia Party.
"A number of them took up a membership with us."
The meeting introduced residents to Tim Middleton, candidate for the seat of Mallee in the federal election.
Also at the meeting was Rosalie Crestani, number two Senate candidate for Victoria.
"The speakers were very well received and it was a very good evening," Mr Nalliah said.
He said he spoke on the vision of Rise Up Australia Party and the importance of protecting Australia's Judaeo-Christian heritage and taking a stand against political correctness to 'keep Australia Australian'.
"We must now take a stand for our nation and call an end to a multicultural Australia and replace it with a multi-ethnic Australia," he said.
"As an immigrant to Australia, my country of birth cannot be changed, but I must be willing to assimilate into the Australian way of life and culture.
"We must look at what will unite us as a nation and not what will divide us."
Mr Nalliah said a number of young people and first-time voters attended the campaign meeting.
"Many came up to me and said they would be voting for the first time and that they would definitely vote for the Rise Up Australia Party because they too wanted to keep Australia Australian," he said.
"That was really excellent."
The Rise Up Australia Party will contest the seat of Mallee in the federal election on September 14.
