The club hosts round five of the MX Western Region Series.
Club secretary Ken Watts promises a big day of racing.
"Racing begins at 9am and goes right through to 4pm," he said.
"There will be between 150 and 200 riders, from riders aged from seven to our senior citizens, the veterans."
Mr Watts said the club was originally scheduled to host the event on July 22, but was unable to prepare its track in time after hosting round seven of the MX National Championships on the preceding weekend.
He said the track was now in much better condition.
Local riders to watch this weekend include club president Brett Harris in the veteran's section and junior Bailey Thomas, who makes his competitive return from a broken arm.
Other riders in action include Jory Hancock of Horsham, Ben Johnston of Stawell, Jacob Williams of Horsham and Warracknabeal brothers Cory and Aaron Watts.
Mr Watts said leading Horsham female rider Tamika Edwards would miss the event through injury.
He said Edwards recently hurt her hip and shoulder in a crash at Bacchus Marsh.
"It's disappointing for Tamika that she won't get the chance to compete in front of a home crowd," he said.
Mr Watts encouraged Wimmera residents to show their support at the event.
"Spectators are more than welcome and it is free entry," he said.
"We've got some good quality riders competing, so why not come and support them and cheer on our local riders too."
