Ground: Balmoral Recreation Reserve, Saturday, 2.20pm.
Umpires: L. Marklew and L. Touhey.
Last time they met: Edenhope-Apsley 15.9 (99) d Harrow Balmoral 7.8 (50).
FINALS preparation will be on the mind of both Edenhope-Apsley and Harrow-Balmoral tomorrow at Balmoral Recreation Reserve.
The match is essentially meaningless in terms of ladder position, but both teams know the importance of taking momentum into a finals campaign.
Edenhope-Apsley was crowned minor premier last season, but limped into the finals carrying injuries and devoid of confidence.
Saints co-coach James Dixon said his side was set for a much different finals series this time around.
"We have no injuries and everyone is starting to play some really good football," he said. "Last week was the best game we've played team-wise since I've been at the club and that includes last year.
"This year is nearly the complete opposite because now everyone is coming back from injury and gaining confidence."
Dixon said the Saints were hoping to name an unchanged line-up and would use the game as a serious hitout before the finals.
Harrow-Balmoral coach Brent Forsyth said it was time for his team to throw caution to the wind.
"I suppose in a sense this game is a dead rubber, but we don't want to go in with any sense of self-preservation," he said. "A win is huge for us, especially against this sort of opposition ."
Josh Vickery is set to return for the Roos, while forward Brent Penny was labelled a 50-50 chance.
