Horsham Agricultural Society has teamed up with Tennis Victoria to provide a united approach in promoting their respective events in October.
Through the Horsham Show on October 1 and 2, Tennis Victoria will be promoting Wimmera Week of Tennis which starts on October 5.
Tennis Victoria's community development officer Sue Dundas said the presence at the show would be an opportunity to raise the profile of tennis in the region.
"There will be interactive competitions with lots of prizes to be won and this will be hosted by Tennis Victoria's Aaron Bosse," she said.
"One specific competition will give people of all ages and abilities an opportunity to win one of 100 jumbo tennis balls with 50 given away each day of the two-day show."
Horsham Show's promotions director Andrea Cross said people could use jumbo tennis balls as signature balls to get autographs from the show's special guests, including actor Samuel Johnson, who is returning to Horsham following his Love Your Sister ride earlier this year.
"We will be encouraging winners to take their signature balls to the launch of Wimmera Week of Tennis at the Haven Market on Saturday, October 5 where a major tennis celebrity will be in attendance," Ms Dundas said.
"We look forward to making that announcement in the coming weeks."
Mrs Cross said people could visit www.horshamshow.com.au or call her on 0400 425 254 for more information.
