Ground: Dimboola Recreation Reserve, tomorrow, 2.20pm.
Umpires: C. Gersch, S. Stevenson and C. Carroll.
Last time they met: Round nine, 2013. Dimboola 20.13 (133) d Ararat 7.4 (46).
IT IS almost finals time and Dimboola has a spring in its step heading into its round-18 match with Ararat at Dimboola Recreation Reserve.
Stuart Farr's men have had another solid week on the training track as they prepare to threaten Horsham's decade-long dominance.
Farr said he would have a near full-strength side to pick from, with on-baller Josh Rentsch likely to return from a work-related hand injury.
"I'm not sure who the unlucky one's going to be at this stage," he said,
"We've also got Shaun Smith, Darren Jones and Jackson O'Neill performing well in the reserves."
A win would guarantee the Roos top spot and a week off, but a loss could see the Demons snatch the minor premiership.
Farr expects the Rats to come out firing with a 'nothing to lose' attitude.
Ararat co-coach David Hosking said his players were still hurt from its heartbreaking five-point loss to Warrack Eagles at the weekend.
Hosking said while a win against the Roos would be wishful thinking, a competitive effort was more realistic.
"At this point in time, Dimboola is the best team we've played," he said.
"We just want to carry the good form that we showed against Horsham and Warrack."
Nick Brain and Jack Ganley will both miss through injury, while Corey Billett is touch and go to play.
