HORSHAM Golf Club is taking entries for its 106th annual tournament next week.
Ladies captain Julie Wirth said the tournament, between September 2 and September 8, was the biggest event on the club's calendar.
"There are some really exciting prizes up for grabs this year," she said.
"A lawnmower thanks to Emmetts Motors is up for grabs for a hole in one."
Golfers from Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania have already signed up for the event, with more than 120 players signed up.
The tournament tees off on Monday with men's and ladies' two-person ambrose events.
Tuesday will see both men's and ladies' chapman foursome events, before ladies', men's and men's veterans stableford events on Wednesday.
A 4Ball stableford aggregate will be on Thursday.
Wirth said she expected a packed-out Friday for the ladies' and men's 4BBB events, with entries already over the 100 mark.
The men's and women's 27-hole stroke events will be on
A mixed pinehurst event will close proceedings on September 8.
Wirth said favourite, Ballarat's Helen Pascoe, would have a tough challenge ahead in the women's 27-hole stroke event, with a number of talented golfers taking part.
"There will be a number of women with handicaps under 10, which will give Helen a run for her money," she said.
Ashley Whitehouse, Levi Burns and Ben Campbell are just a few from the star-studded men's 27-hole stroke field. Burns is in red-hot form after setting a course record at Murtoa to claim the Wimmera District Golf Association championship at the weekend.
The tournament will kick off an exciting month at the Horsham club, with the new clubhouse officially opening on September 22.
