THE Wimmera Eisteddfod will return to Horsham's Wesley Performing Arts Centre on Friday and Saturday.
The annual event took a break last year after its steering head, benefactor and piano teacher Wendy Weight moved away.
Four parents formed a committee this year with the intention of bringing the eisteddfod back to life.
Committee member Margaret Priestley said there would be more than 250 items performed over the two days.
She said the event covered piano, brass and woodwind, strings and vocals.
She said members of the public could attend at a cost of $5 a session, which is a half day.
The event runs from 9am to 8.30pm on Friday and 9am to 7.30pm on Saturday.
Mrs Priestley said people could call 0438 947 959 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
