Minyip-Murtoa Football Club has called for a Wimmera Football League investigation into an incident which left teenage ruckman Matt Coleman in hospital with head injuries.
Coleman was rushed to hospital after suffering a seizure when his head hit the ground late in the second quarter against Horsham Saints on Sunday.
Burras president Andy Delahunty said he also wanted to look into an incident which happened moments before involving Angus Trethowan during the match at Horsham City Oval.
Mr Delahunty said Coleman was still in hospital and ‘didn’t look like getting out anytime soon’.
Western Vic Football manager Stephen McQueen confirmed that he had received paperwork and an investigating officer had 21 days to complete the investigation.
