NORADJUHA-QUANTONG partners in crime Rachel Pipkorn and Yolanda Francis are hoping to add a premiership medallion to their trophy cabinets after cleaning up in the Horsham District Netball Association B Grade best and fairest count.
Pipkorn was named the winner for 2013 with 29 votes, while Francis polled 21 to finish second.
The pair insisted neither one of them played second fiddle to the other.
Pipkorn said the pair did everything together.
Pipkorn, who plays goal defence, said it felt good to collect another best and fairest award after winning the Wimmera league's A Grade vote count several years ago. "I'm excited to win and I'm excited for the weekend," she said. "I think I've had a pretty good season."
Francis teams up with Pipkorn in the Bombers' defence as goal keeper and will play her 300th match in the grand final at the weekend.
She said it was an exciting time to be part of the team.
"I've never even won a club best and fairest before so this is pretty awesome and to come second to Rach is an honour," she said.
"To play my 300th in the grand final is very exciting but I won't be thinking about it too much because I care more about the team premiership rather than an individual milestone."
