LAHARUM produced an upset for the ages to beat Kalkee in the 2013 Horsham District Football League grand final.
The Mountain Men were given little chance of beating the five-time reigning premiers but dug deep to overcome a 13-point three quarter time deficit and run out with a 17-point win.
The final score was Laharum 15.9 (99) to Kalkee 12.10 (82).
It is Laharum's first senior HDFL premiership since 1995.
Coach Marcus Demaria said it was an amazing win against the odds.
"I asked the guys to believe in themselves and have a fair-dinkum crack and that's what they did so it was fantastic," he said.
Laharum ruck-forward Shannon Argall kicked five goals and won the VCFL medal for best on ground.
