POLICE are investigating a series of property damage in Horsham.
Senior Constable Madeleine Jackman of Horsham police said the most eye-catching offence was ‘iridescent pink’ graffiti on the eastern rear wall of the city’s Cheap as Chips store.
Sen Const Jackman said the graffiti happened about 5.30pm on Wednesday.
“It was observed by a member of the public,” she said.
“It is believed the same offenders have, at some point after 6pm, graffitied the skate park with lewd comments.”
Horsham Rural City Council has cleaned the site.
Sen Const Jackman said a barbecue and drinking fountain at May Park were also damaged.
She said two teenage boys had been apprehended and bailed in relation to the graffiti.
“Both young males have been bailed to attend Children’s Court at a later date,” she said.
She said there was a possibility other people were involved.
She asked people with information to call Horsham police on 5382 9200.
