HORSHAM’S Holy Trinity Lutheran School is gearing up for its Christmas Festival.
The event is on November 29 to December 1 at the school hall.
Committee member Maureen Schache said the festival would include a devonshire tea this year.
“We thought we’d like to make it a bit different from other years,’’ she said.
Mrs Schache said there would be a class to teach people how to make scones for the festival.
The scones would be served as part of the devonshire tea.
Mrs Schache said people could decorate Christmas trees and wreaths and enter them in adult and children’s competitions.
Other highlights would include Christmas craft and baking and many stalls.
Mrs Schache said the Lutheran Ladies Guild started the festival in 2002 as a biennial event.
The school took it over in 2008.
From this year the festival will be an annual event.
Mrs Schache encouraged people to support the event, which would raise money for the school.
She said people could like the event’s Facebook page and find competition entry forms there.
People could also call her on 0412 833 005 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Kim on 0411 057 821 for more information.
