HORSHAM and District Harness Racing Club hosted its annual presentation night at Horsham Golf Club’s new clubhouse on Saturday.
The club’s night of nights was well attended by more than 65 people.
President Justin Lane said it was a night where the club’s top performers for the 2012-13 season were honoured.
Great Western’s Peter Manning won his 11th Trainers Premiership in 12 years, with daughter Kerryn Manning winning the award last year.
Mathew Craven won the Drivers Premiership award, capping off a stellar season as a driver and trainer.
Horse of the Year went to Cheap Tint, trained by Rebecca East and Kevin Brough and owned by Malcolm and Wendy Walker.
Lane said it was a great way to end a fantastic season at the club.
“The 2013 Horsham Pacing Cup was the best race we’ve ever had quality-wise,” he said.
“It’s a celebration and a thank you to all the volunteers for their efforts throughout the year.”
