KIATA secured a first innings win in a low-scoring match against Winiam during a two-day encounter at Winiam.
A hat-trick to skipper Brad Clark was not enough for Winiam to get the first innings points.
Clark took an astonishing 7-13 off his 8.5 overs as his side rolled Kiata for 73.
Only Liam Albrecht, 27, and Nathan Alexander, 21, reached double-figures.
Ash Cook, Jordan Gurry and James Ellis were the other wicket-takers for Winiam.
But the match was proved to be a bowlers’ paradise late on day one, with Winiam skittled for just 58.
Nathan Alexander claimed 4-21, while Peter Hedt was also good with 3-5.
Austin Merrett and Todd Alexander picked up one wicket each.
Kiata was in danger of an outright loss at stumps on day one at 3-40, but finished with 110.
It left Winiam chasing 126 from 17 overs. The home side finished at 5-56.
Rainbow forfeited its match to Nhill because of a shortage of players caused by Jeparit-Rainbow’s end of season football trip.
Jeparit had the bye.
