Mr Martin has been involved with the event for nearly two decades.
He will play guitar at the carols, along with Andy Leslie.
Mr Martin said Lisa Thomas would feature on keyboard, her brother-in-law Phil Thomas on bass and Joel Adams on drums.
He said the band had been rehearsing for four weeks.
Mr Martin said the band would take a different tack from previous years, performing an instrumental piece.
The piece was to the tune of God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen.
Mr Martin said the instrumental would be a highlight of the band but was unsure how people would react.
“It will either be everyone in shock or everyone shouting and cheering,’’ he said.
“It’s a favourite for anyone who loves electric guitar stuff.’’
Mr Martin said the carols would take many different musical influences.
“There’s a bit of a country influence, like Carrie Underwood,’’ he said.
“There’s more acoustic. There’s also general rock sounds.’’
The carols are at Horsham Soundshell in Sawyer Park on Sunday, with pre-entertainment from 6.30pm.
They are split into two sections, with children’s entertainment, including a play The Greatest Story Ever Told first, and traditional carols to follow.
