Kiata produced a great bowling performance on the road to stave off Jeparit.
Kiata was sent in to bat after Jeparit won the toss and made a total of 9-145.
Heath Preston, Liam Albrecht, Brad Alexander, Darcy Preston, Damien Dickinson Nathan Alexander and Peter Hedt each made between 11 and 25 runs.
Although the target of 145 seemed manageable, Jeparit struggled from the start of its run chase.
Mick Preston steadied the side with 38, but after he was caught by Trevor Polkinghorne off the bowling of Liam Albrecht, the side collapsed to finish 9-97.
Judd Spokes was the only other Jeparit batsman to reach double figures.
Hedt snared four wickets for the Highwaymen and Albrecht had two.
Rainbow also came away with a win after being tested by Winiam.
The Wolves' total of 7-132 was set up by Simon Brearley's 36 and Brodie Cramer's 39.
Those scores were matched by Rainbow's Heath Clugston, who also had 36, and opener Brett Jensz who finished on 39.
Nhill is still atop the ladder after a bye, while Rainbow trails the Tigers only by percentage.
Kiata is third, Jeparit is fourth and Winiam sits in last place with one win for the season.
West Wimmera action resumes on January 18 with Rainbow playing Nhill for top spot and Wianiam taking on Kiata.
