Hamilton District, Warrnambool Gold and Wimmera-Mallee Cricket Association all recorded wins on the opening day.
Birchip's Joe Reid was the star for Wimmera-Mallee, taking 4-21 off 10 overs to have Warrnambool Blue reeling early at 3-17.
Donald's Liam Leith also chipped in with two wickets as Warrnambool Blue was bowled out for 143 at Coughlin Park, while Jack Knight remained unbeaten on 40.
Reid also starred with the bat, smashing 45 runs while finding assistance from Leith, 36, Leetyn McKenzie, 27, and Jordan Murray, 24.
Wimmera-Mallee finished 8-179 after 45 overs, with Warrnambool Blue opener Callum Dunn claiming 3-16 from seven overs.
At Sunnyside, Horsham was dismissed for 107 chasing Warrnambool Gold's 5-155 after 45 overs.
Gold skipper Liam Brown scored 56 and opener Charlie Locke 57.
Horsham's Sam Polack, Corey Chenoweth and Seb Dalgleish all picked up a wicket. The home side was reduced to 6-34 early, before Horsham Saints wicket-keeper Tom Wentworth started a fightback, scoring 27.
Eight Warrnambool Gold bowlers shared the spoils of a 48-run win.
Portland and District met Hamilton District at Melville Oval in Hamilton, with the Portland side restricted to 9-133 off 45 overs.
Hamilton's James Cullinane collected 4-20, while Taylor Cowie was the pick of Portland and District's batting line-up, scoring 33 runs.
In reply, Hamilton opener Riley Pickering cracked an undefeated 108 and first drop Daniel Kerber remained at the crease on 53 as Hamilton finished its allotted overs on 1-199.
In tomorrow's matches, Warrnambool Blue and Gold will play off at Horsham City Oval, Portland and District meets South West at Dudley Cornell Park, and Sunnyside plays host to a clash between Wimmera-Mallee and Hamilton District. Horsham has the bye.
