Owen Hughan coached both the under-14 boys team Owen's X-Men and 16-19 girls team Owen's Angels.
Owen's X-Men team members were Tate Fennell, Josh Bibby, Mitch Martin and Jeremiah McKenzie, while Alexandra Hiscock, Chloe Bibby, Ella Bibby and Faith McKenzie made up Owen's Angels.
Both sides went through their groups undefeated, although both teams had wins of two points or less in the round-robin stage.
Owen's Angels beat Phoenicians in their grand final 19-10.
Owen's X-Men also had a good win in their grand final, downing The Wolf Pack 15-9.
Faith McKenzie won the 16-19 girls slam dunk competition.
Hughan said three-on-three basketball was a form of the game with great potential.
"Three-on-three is a relatively new style of basketball, which is being introduced by many associations," he said. "Three-on-three will become a demonstration sport at the next Olympic games.
"It is a game for everyone, as it assists with all players touching the ball, which the full-court version sometimes lacks at junior level."
