The club will have seven races, with the final race being the first heat of the Tontine Pacers Series at 10pm.
Ararat Harness Racing Club's senior vice-president Bob Collins said the club had assembled strong fields,
headlined by the Tontine series heat, and was hopeful of a good crowd.
"It's the first heat of the year for the Tontine series, and it's a very strong heat," he said.
"There's two horses that haven't been beaten in their past three starts."
"There should be good racing and some good finishes."
Mr Collins said the club had received a lot of support from the community after vandals caused about $15,000 worth of damage almost a fortnight ago.
Mr Collins said the police had been a terrific help, and he was confident the club was again heading in the right direction, with security cameras also being installed.
"Things arent 100 percent yet, but we're having the races," he said.
"We've got our new fridges in and restocked and the doors fixed."
"They have been terrific the police and I think we're on the right track."
