West Wimmera faced off against Wimmera-Mallee Two at Davis Park and elected to bat after winning the toss.
Opener Sam Vivian got the team away to a great start with 35 runs before retiring.
Fellow opener Bailey Zimmermann and number three Jock Maddern each made 20 and Josh Lees became the second West Wimmera batsman to retire on 35.
With a combined 115 runs from its top five batsmen, West Wimmera was set up well in the first 20 overs.
In comparison, the Wimmera-Mallee team struggled initially.
Mark Clark made 13 runs before being caught by Zimmermann off the bowling of Josiah Mock, and Spencer Weir retired after making 30, but the rest of the team struggled to make runs.
Opener Jordan Murray's eight runs were the next highest total on the team.
West Wimmera's run scoring slowed considerably in its second 20 overs, with Owen Conway, 19, making the only double-digit runs.
After the team's hot start, however, it finished with a comfortable total of 6-184, including 43 sundries.
The struggles continued for Wimmera-Mallee Two when they resumed their innings.
Patrick Morgan was run out for six and West Wimmera bowlers Zimmermann, Levi Mock, Brock Conway and Matthew Thomas each picked up wickets.
Wimmera-Mallee Two was bowled out for 124, with nearly half the team's total coming from sundries.
Sam Downes was the team's best bowler with figures of 2-11 from three overs, and Josiah Mock claimed three wickets in four overs for West Wimmera.
Wimmera-Mallee One fared no better in its match against Horsham, going down 4-168 to 11-112.
Horsham batted after winning the toss and made the most of its first 20 overs.
Opening pair Will Barber and Jordan Weidemann combined for 28 runs before Weidemann was bowled by Ben Hogan and Barber retired.
Dalton Clough, 19, and Josh Hedt, 35 retired, also contributed.
Wimmera-Mallee's opening pair of Cooper Anderson and Charlie Dean had a big task of keeping up with the pace set by Horsham.
Both were removed by Zac Hamerston, Anderson for one and Dean for 20.
The going got even tougher after that, with a string of four consecutive ducks for Wimmera-Mallee One.
Hamerston struck with his third wicket to remove James Paley for no runs and Horsham's Daniel Polack and Seb Dalgleish also picked up wickets.
Jack Tillig was run out for a duck, leaving Wimmera-Mallee One in a precarious position.
Horsham cruised to a total of 168 in its second 20 overs, with Oscar Crosgrove and Dalgleish providing 16 each.
Wimmera-Mallee One's tail order made some belated runs through Connor Lee, 35 not out, and Tom Letts, 10, but it was too little too late.
Wimmera-Mallee bowler Ben Hogan was the only multiple wicket taker with two and Dean and Cody Brooks each had one.
Hamerston topped the Horsham bowlers with 3-5 from four overs, followed by Brock Hamerston with two wickets and singles to Polack, Dalgleish, Crosgrove, Clough and Hedt.
