THE Wimmera region's junior tennis talent will return to the courts on Saturday after a summer break.
There are five rounds remaining in the season. In the boys 17 and under A Grade competition, ladder leaders Laharum will host their nearest challengers, Horsham Lawn Black, at Laharum Tennis Club.
Laharum have tasted success in both matches earlier this season, but a win to Horsham Lawn Black would open up the race for top spot.
Horsham Lawn's Hugh Gove and Ethan McRae and Laharum's Joe Harrison are all enjoying good seasons, winning more than 60 percent of their games.
All girls 17 and under A Grade fixtures will be played at Central Park this weekend, with fifth-placed Central Park Purple and sixth-placed Central Park Gold looking for a win to start the new year and move into the top four.
Haven Red will play Laharum in a clash of second and third in the boys 17 and under B Grade fixtures, while Natimuk and Haven will meet in a top-of-the-table clash in the girls 17 and under B Grade.
Quantong and Horsham Lawn Green enjoyed wins just before the break in the boys 14 and under A Grade, and the two top-four sides will meet in a big match-up at Horsham Lawn Tennis Club.
In girls 14 and under A Grade, ladder leaders Quantong will face third-placed Haven Blue in one of the matches of the round.
Haven Blue faces Horsham Lawn, and Haven Red plays Central Park in the boys 12 and under A Grade, while Natimuk Blue and Purple will meet in 12-and-under girls competition in Natimuk.
