The department issued its final advice message about the fire to communities including Albacutya, Hopeyoun West, Rainbow and Yaapeet on Tuesday morning.
Fire activity in the areas has subsided and the bushfire is now safe, but smoke might still be visible from communities near the national park.
The fire has been burning since January 15 and has burnt more than 100,000 hectares.
