The company will host a tour of the Hamilton and Douglas sites next week.
Iluka external relations manager Rod Jones said the resumption of production created an opportunity for key business people and media to look around the site.
"It will give them a greater knowledge of Iluka and our operations," he said.
"It is a great learning opportunity."
The tour will start at the Hamilton site, before participants are transferred to the Douglas site for an overview of Iluka's activities.
The tour will also include presentations from Iluka staff.
Mr Jones said production idled in November because of market demand.
Production started again last week.
Mr Jones said market demand was now stronger. "We are a lot more confident about the market at the moment," he said.
"This is how we have been running out sites production flexes depending on market demand.
"The staff are aware of that and the start of production doesn't really change anything about how the site operates."
Mr Jones said business leaders and local and state government representatives were invited to the tour on February 20.
