Festival president John Naylor said organisers were delighted with the turnout.
He said official numbers were yet to be finalised but organisers counted at least 1000 people.
"The whole committee is overwhelmed with the amount of people through the gate," he said.
A bumper line-up including Adam Brand, Graeme Hugo, Laura Downing, Jayde Denham, Amber Joy Poulton, Gavin Chandler, Wildcard, The Blackhill Ramblers Dance Band and Peter Coad and the Coad Sisters wowed audiences during the two-day event.
Mr Naylor said with the quality of the acts it was hard to pick any standouts.
"It's gone magnificently," he said.
"It's all been a highlight - the whole thing is a highlight."
Mr Naylor said organisers had received excellent feedback from the crowd, with many rating it among the all-time best editions of the festival.
