Both parties said they were unable to comment on the nature of the settlement because of legal reasons.
The dispute arose after West Wimmera Shire Council alleged Hassad had breached the council’s planning scheme by removing native vegetation on its Telopea Downs property.
The matter was listed for Horsham Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
