Emergency services were called to Dimboola-Rainbow Road about 4.30pm.
Horsham Acting Sergeant Stuart Chilver said the male driver, 38, had been trapped in his truck.
"He is conscious and will be transported to Horsham, where he will be flown to Melbourne via fixed-wing aircraft," he said.
The man sustained non-life threatening injuries to his lower legs in the single-vehicle crash.
Police are still investigating the cause.
Acting Sgt Chilver said the truck burst part of the Wimmera-Mallee Pipeline when it crashed.
