The day – a nine-hole, four-person ambrose event – is to raise money for breast cancer, with a number of prizes up for grabs.
Horsham Golf Club ladies captain Trudy Parker said entries had been flooding in.
“We’ve got a lot of entries so far,” she said.
“We’re expecting up to 100 ladies for the competition.”
Parker said the event had grown over the past two years, with about $1200 raised last year.
“Many of us have friends or family who have been affected by breast cancer, so it’s a very worthwhile cause,” she said.
For $15, Parker said any women could enter and hoped everyone would get into the spirit of the day.
“It’s open to all lady golfers – no handicap or club membership is required,” she said.
“We ask that everyone wears something pink.”
All participants will receive a secret prize, while there are two straightest drive competitions and nearest to pin challenges on par three holes.
The tournament will be a shotgun start, beginning at 8.30am.
Parker said people could call Julie on 5384 0264 or Trudy on 5384 6220 to register.
Entries close at noon on March 2.
