Horsham College took out the Black Ranges division's intermediate girls', senior girls' and senior boys' events, with Murtoa College winning the intermediate boys' event at St Brigid's College on Tuesday.
Volleyball Horsham president David Berry said organisers were thrilled with the turnout for the tournament.
"This was the biggest school volleyball event of its kind in Horsham," he said.
"We had 15 teams competing across the four divisions.
"We were rapt with it, absolutely rapt."
Mr Berry said the event was a great advertisement for the growth of volleyball in the region.
"The grandstand was full of St Brigid's students cheering their teams on," he said.
"It's a competition that has grown as each year's gone by due to the popularity of the sport."
Murtoa College entered six teams, Horsham College five and St Brigid's College four.
The winning teams will have two months to prepare for the Greater Western championships at St Brigid's College on May 6, with the winners from that tournament progressing through to the state finals later that month.
