Ms Francisco 'braved the shave' yesterday and lost her hair as part of the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave.
Ms Francisco is a Wimmera Health Care Group Day Centre client, who has a neurological disorder.
She said she decided to take part after a friend was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia.
"He has touched my heart in so many ways his braveness, being positive and having a fighting attitude towards his illness," she said.
"His wife, who is supporting her husband, has that same positive attitude and fighting spirit.
"Both gave me support when I was very ill and still continue to do so with my neurological disorder.
"Now it is my turn to support them and many others with leukaemia."
She said the experience changed her life.
She said people could sponsor her online at my.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/kerrifrancisco.
"People can sponsor me to help change the lives of other people with blood cancer," she said.
"Donations will help the Leukaemia Foundation provide free services to support people with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood disorders."
Ms Francisco has already raised $752.
