Francis, riding her 12-year-old gelding King Chorus, took out the four-show series from Wimmera Horse Performance Club rider Lindy Lavithis.
Francis said she was pleased to claim victory, especially after her horse had suffered a torn tendon injury a year ago.
“After a near career-ending injury, I’m absolutely stoked,” she said.
“He’s a great little horse.”
Francis said the series was decided by the high point aggregate from four shows in Horsham, Natimuk and Balmoral across February and March.
She said it was also pleasing to see Lavithis return to riding after she recovered from her own serious injury – suffering a broken back after falling from a horse close to a year ago.
