Alexander will run a coaching clinic at St Brigid’s College in Horsham in the morning, before speaking at the association’s season launch function at Wesley Performing Arts Centre in the evening.
The association’s event co-ordinator Gayle Leith said the 90-minute clinic would be open to anybody interested, and incorporate some of the latest coaching drills and game plans for club coaches.
She said people are encouraged to arrive by 9.30am for the session, which will cost $5 a person and run from 10am to 11.30am.
The Constellation Cup-winning coach will speak about her role as the Diamonds head coach at the official function, with doors opening at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
The function will also include a fashion parade by Time to Splurge and Horsham Sports and Leisure, a raffle and a supper provided by the Minyip-Murtoa Football Netball Club.
Leith said she was hoping more than 100 people would attend.
This is the second year the association has run a season launch. Diamonds legend Sharelle McMahon attended last year.
Leith said tickets were still available at a cost $25 for adults and $15 for children 16 years and under.
She said people could book their place for the coaching clinic or season launch function, or find out more information, by calling her on 0427 993 560.
