Bibby and the Vic Country under-18 team progressed undefeated through the tournament to reach the gold medal match.
Vic Country defeated South Australia Metro 89-66 in yesterday's semi-final to set up a grand final berth against either South Australia Country or arch-rival Vic Metro.
Despite playing as a bottom-age player, Bibby has led her team in scoring and rebounding, and was twice nominated as the player of the day in Basketball Australia social media polls.
She was limited to just eight points and eight rebounds after having her legs taken out from under her and landing awkwardly on her hip at the start of the last quarter yesterday.
Bibby spent the remainder of the game on the bench, but her father Adrian said it was only a precautionary measure and she would be fit and healthy for today's final.
"She played really well in the time she was on the court, and she should be fine to go in the final," he said.
The gold medal match will be played at 5pm tomorrow at the Belconnen Basketball Centre in Canberra.
