Northern Zone academy coach Richelle McKenzie led the two-day clinic, with assistance from coaches from the North Central and Mallee netball associations.
The girls were coached in various netball skills and tactics, while 16 aspiring umpires were trained by Netball Victoria’s Leah Saunders and North Central’s Noelene Hogan.
Wimmera Mallee Netball regional liaison officer Julie Gould said the camp was a success.
“It was absolutely fantastic. It went really, really well,” she said.
“We’ve already started formulating for it to be bigger and better than ever before next year.”
Victorian 21 and under captain Chloe Watson also attended, talking about the commitment required to play a high level of netball, while Central Mallee Osteopathy owner Louise Bibby talked to the group about injury prevention and management.
The Wimmera Mallee Region is planning for its inter-association netball tournament next month.
